The Augustus L. Clark Scholarship

The Royal MIB Inc. Scholarship is committed to unlocking and nurturing the potential of young men from underserved communities across the Inland Empire — young individuals who often face significant financial obstacles on their journey to higher education and personal development.

We invite you to take a moment and ask yourself: How can I be part of a program where my contribution directly empowers young men to achieve their dreams of becoming college graduates?

At Royal MIB Inc., every donation is maximized to provide meaningful impact — funding scholarships, mentorship, and leadership development that transform lives and strengthen communities. Your support doesn’t just help students afford tuition — it helps shape future leaders.

Join us in making higher education not just a possibility, but a reality.

Augustus L. Clark

ALClark1

Bro. Augustus L. Clark, was affectionately known as Gus, crossed into Zeta Tau Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. at California State University at Long Beach on February 9, 1975.  He graduated with a degree in Accounting and became a Financial Auditor at Logus, Inc.

After graduation, he transferred into Phi Beta Sigma Chapter in 1977.  He held a variety of chapter offices and served on numerous committees.  He was later elected to the positions of Western Regional Treasure and Controller.  He served in that capacity on two separate occasions for multiple terms.  He was the personification of the dedicated Sigma man.

In his personal life, he married his college sweet heart, Ms. Elaine Brown of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. and they had a son Andre Clark.  They later divorced and Gus eventually remarried Ms. Mili Clark.

Gus continued to progress in his career and later became an Fraud Investigator for the Department of Justice conducting financial audits of suspected criminal violators.

Gus relocated to the City of Chino Hills, CA in the Inland Empire area of Southern California and joined the Alpha Alpha Epsilon Sigma Chapter of the fraternity where he became an integral member of the chapter, holding multiple positions and establishing the 501(c)(3) named PBS West Educational Foundation.  The main purpose of the foundation was to raise funding for scholarships awarded to college bound high school students of color.

Gus joined the Omega Chapter on June 19, 2013.  Andre Clark followed in the footsteps of his father and also became a member of Phi Beta Sigma Inc.  During the 2014 Western Regional conference, the scholarship foundation was renamed to the “Augustus L. Clark Scholarship” in honor of brother Augustus Clark so that his legacy in Sigma would live on for generations to come.
